Nice people them Yorkshire folk.
Well worth the trip from Worcestershire. Great atmosphere, Great service AND Great people.
Oh, and I came away with a Great little mota…
It’s all Dan’s Fault!
After many years spending too much money and time on classic cars, I decided that my next car would be one that needed driving and nothing else.
Then Dan showed me a new arrival, a one owner 23,000 mile 1968 four door saloon. It was solid in all the right places but the body had some interesting patina. It would be a matter of conservation not restoration where possible.
And that was it, love at first sight. I now have yet another mistress in the garage that I will spend more time fettling than driving. S
She’s a beauty !
Our Traveller has recently arrived and we are delighted.
Throughout the whole process we had every confidence in WRCC as communication with Dan was both professional and friendly.
Most happy to give 5 stars.
Worth the 4am start!
After having no luck sourcing a car locally in Cornwall for my dad we happened upon West Riding Classics.
From first point of contact to arrival at West Riding Classics the service was foster class. Dad is thrilled with his little Morris convertible and it’s great to see him happy again so soon after losing mum. Well worth the very long trip of 800 miles.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this great business. Thank you very much for making dad smile again.
Fantastic after sales service
I recently bought an MGB Roadster from WRCC and unbeknown to either Dan or myself there was an internal issue with the engine which nobody could have been aware of.Dan was amazing and helped me sort the problem which resulted in me now proudly driving a car ( around my country lanes with a smile on my face ) which I love, and I’m sure that Dan will always be on the end of the phone or computer should I need honest, professional and genuine advice in the future. To Dan and his team I can only say THANK YOU,,,,,,,,,
Great after service
After buying a classic moggie from WRCC as one could expect from a 60 year old car there were a few teething problems. Dan had it covered and replaced both fuel pump and later on 4 tyres which developed cracks deep in the tread very quickly with use of the car. Im doing a thousand miles a month as an everyday driver.
So pleased both with car and with WRCC
Three months on…
After looking for a classic car to use as an everyday car I settled on a Morris Minor in particular a Traveller, after speaking to Dan at West Riding and discussing my intentions he advised me against the Traveller as the potential purchase won’t be garaged and the amount of upkeep of the ash frame would make it an impractical choice even though he could have easily have made a sale and probably a lot more profit.
A 1961 4 door saloon in clipper blue was eventually purchased and Dan and his team made some upgrades for me to make it more usable in modern traffic conditions and the car was deliverd in September.
Three months on I’ve had a couple of teething problems that Dan has rectified in a very professional manner, I must add this was a car from a personal colection of a car dealer that had never really been used affter it’s restoration and it was not one of Dan’s restorations. I can honestly say I am loving ever minute of owning the minor, smiles per mile imessurable, you should be able to get them on the NHS great fun strongly recommend you try one.
Buying a car in lockdown I
I have always wanted to own a Morris Minor Convertable so when I saw her on WRCC website I knew I had to have her, the problem was LOCKDOWN!! I live in Cambridgeshire so I knew I wouldn’t be able to go and see her and take her for a spin therefore I had to put all my trust in Dan and his team. We spoke on the phone regularly because I had lots of questions and he was always patient with me, he also did a video tour of the car, which helped a lot. I now have her in my garage and I can’t thank Dan and his team enough, the trust I put in them has paid off and I am looking forward to many happy years of motoring. Eileen Newton.
A rash decision?
Who would even think of buying a car in lockdown when you can’t look around it or even take it for a drive, well I did!! When I saw this beautiful Morris minor convertible at WEST RIDING CLASSICS I knew I had to have it. I contacted Dan and I was nervous about buying it at first but I needn’t have worried because I was lucky to have found someone who put my mind at ease and was prepared to spend time and did a video inspection call so I could see all around the car. Dan has been patient and very helpful all through the process, we spoke often on the phone and I know I can call him at any time, I gradually began to put my trust in him and that trust has paid off .My beautiful car that I have waited so long to own is now in my garage and looking forward to driving her when life is back to normal. I can’t thank Dan and his team at WEST RIDING CLASSICS enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services, Thank you Dan.
1969 Bermuda Blue Saloon.
I have wanted a minor for many years but travelling around the world with my work made it impossible. Now retired I was able to fulfil my dream of owning one. Finding anything decent was challenging till I came across WRCC. I found Dans honesty and eye for detail excellent in going the extra yard to ensure the quality of the Minors sold stand up to what is delivered from enquiry right through to ownership.
Top marks Dan and the team.
Howard and Gill Baker.
Wonderful Convertible
We have just taken delivery of our wonderful Convertible I can’t praise the team at West Riding enough. From the first visit to view the options, to the final day when we picked up our gleaming Convertible the experience has been brilliant.
With retirement came the idea to relive our early motoring youth with the purchase of a Morris Traveler, after a long search we hit upon West Riding Classics on the first visit the decision was made to to change the Traveler to a Convertible. Dan helped us through the initial specification of the vehicle and kept us informed through the whole build process with plenty of photos. The delivered Convertible looks stunning and drives well . It has been a pleasure to deal with such a great team and would not hesitate to go through the whole process again
Beautiful Four Door Saloon
Many thanks to the friendly , professional team at WRCC for their excellent service during the recent purchase of our stunning 1968 4-door saloon
The comprehensive servicing , preparation and delivery arrangements were faultless and I can highly recommend WRCC. Our new arrival ‘JEN’ is settling in very well to her new home !!
1968 Traveller
I cannot praise highly enough the Morris Minor Traveller that I purchased from you. The restoration of the 51 year old Traveller is superb as is the attention to detail given to this restoration and the help given for all queries raised with Dan. The Traveller drives and feels like a brand new car. I highly recommend Dan and his staff at West Riding Classic Cars for the quality of their work.
Great service
I bought my first Moggie from WRCC. Dan and his team were really helpful and patiently answered all my questions, and there were many! The offer of any advice post purchase is reassuring too. I’d fully recommend, good service from the start and throughout.
Traveller
I commissioned WRCC to do a complete nut and bolt restoration of a 1968 Traveller for me. To ‘every-day use’ standards. The project involved brake upgrades, new interior, suspension upgrades, re-wire, electronic ignition and engine, gearbox and rear-diff overhaul.
The whole project was expertly managed by Dan and the team. Very pleased with the result.
Very happy to recommend them to anyone.
Picture Perfect
We had a choice: a new, boring estate/hatchback or a car with real character – a Morris Traveller. Not being the least bit mechanically minded we contacted Dan and the WRCC team who just so happened to have a 1954 split screen traveller ready for restoration. Thanks to all their hard work we now have a lovely looking car that gets us from A to B and attracts so many more admiring glances and “thumbs up” than the boring estate/hatchback we could have gone for! I’d recommend Dan and the team at WRCC to anyone who wants something a bit different.
Family Star
Our “Woody “- a 1971 Morris Minor Traveller – becomes a familily member in June 2016.
She is the absolutely star for my wife, my Daughter, our Grandson and last but not least for “Zorro”, our Cairn Terrier.
She is the eye catcher whereever we go.
We start the project with Dan from WRC in autum 2015. The car was ready to pick up March 2016. After some hard work to export the car fom UK to Switzerland, some finishing works had to be done by me and my BOSCH Service. In July 2016 she was technically approved by the Swiss authorities without problems
Now she is running like a clockwork. But it’s still an adventure to go with her – some little things have to be done nearly during or after each ride. So a basic set of tools is always on board.
But she never had a serious breakdown, so we always reachd our home.
In summary I can say, the guys of WRC have done a good and reputable job.
I can recommend them.

2 DOOR BEAUTY
A big thank you to Dan and everybody involved for there hard work during the restoration
of my now, “BEAUTIFUL” 2 door saloon, I was kept informed via email and photographs
from start to finish, so now have a complete and detailed record of the build.
I would definitely recommend there services to anyone who’s thinking of having work

Blue Traveller
As a Lotus & Ireland lover I have been looking for some time for a nice traveller and found it with WRCC.
A 5-speed with a tweeked engine was brought back home to Holland by me. Some minor things were done by me over time to get it perfect and I am a happy owner. All credits for the WRCC team to keep these classics alive. I am thinking now to convert a Pick-up or Traveller to full Electric drive – maybe WRCC can assist in this as well.
My lovely convertible
- I was on the look out for a Morris Minor and by chance called in at WRCC.
It was so easy from the first visit and within three months they had sourced and rebuilt this beauty.
I believe you get what you pay for and everything was done to top standard and nothing was done without prior discussion.
