This fully restored 1971 London GPO (General Post Office) Van could be just the Minor for you.

Lovingly restored by a dear friend of WRCC — sadly no longer with us — who worked on these very vehicles in GPO garages during their service years, this van has been brought back to life with remarkable authenticity. Every detail has been carefully reproduced, right down to the original service numbers, depot markings, and period-correct equipment.

In the rear, you’ll find the correct line testing equipment, storage bins, and ladders, just as it would have been during its working life.

Condition & Details

• Bodywork: 100% solid with no rust or rot. The usual troublesome gutters have been properly restored, and the underside is in excellent condition.

• Paintwork: Very good throughout, complete with authentic Buzzby signage for that finishing touch.

• Interior: Clean, tidy, and period-correct in every detail.

• Mechanics: A pleasure to drive. The engine feels lively, the transmission is smooth, and the brakes perform well.

This is the second time we’ve had the pleasure of offering this van at WRCC. Having been part of a private collection for the past few years, it’s ideal as a collector’s piece or for local shows.
She’s without doubt one of our favourite Minors ever to pass through WRCC — and that’s saying something!
