1961 Black Morris Minor Traveller

Just landed with us at WRCC is this 1961 Black Morris Minor Traveller the subject of a comprehensive restoration a few years ago which is fully documented in a history file that comes with the car.

Exterior: The Minor was fully refinished on restoration as well as having a full new ash frame fitted, both the ash frame and the paintwork are still in lovely clean order.
The Minors chrome work and exterior trims and rubbers are also in good condition.
She is a very attractive Traveller to look at and grabs lots of admiring glances.

Underside: The underside was restored when the works were carried out on the car, however since coming to us at WRCC wee have stripped and checked her underneath and then refinished so that you can buy with peace of mind that there is no rust or rot in the usual problem areas.

Interior: As with the Minors exterior she received a great deal of attention when she was refurbished, this included a new Maroon interior to compliment the black coach work.
This is in excellent condition throughout with the seats covers and trims as they were the day they were fitted, this can also be said for the headliner and carpets.
Inside the Minor is a very clean and tidy place to be!

Mechanics: The Minors 948cc A series engine not only starts and runs well, but is very smooth and pulls her exceptionally.
Her transmission is also lovely and smooth with no crunches or whines.
The brakes pull her up well as she has been upgraded with a servo and the suspension is free from knocks and bangs.
She can only be described as great to drive.

Summary: Overall the Traveller is a lovely clean example that can be taken to local shows and exhibited with a deal of pride.
She drive very well and is offered at a very reasonable price with all the usual dealer purchase advantages, so what is not to like?
